CUTTAP TERMS

Simple terms for making and keeping your work.

These terms apply when you use CutTap, create a CutTap account, use export credits or buy access to Go Big 1.0. By using the service, you agree to these terms. If you are not legally able to agree or make a purchase, a parent, guardian or authorised representative must do so for you.

The service

CutTap provides access to browser-based creative instruments. Go Big 1.0 is the first product. It lets you load media, perform with its controls and create an export on a compatible device and browser. Your media is processed locally as described in our Privacy Policy.

Your account

You sign in with Google through Clerk. Keep access to your Google account secure and do not share or sell your CutTap account. You are responsible for activity under your account. Contact us promptly if you believe it has been used without permission.

Free three-second mode

Signed-in users can create recordings and exports of up to three seconds without using an export credit. CutTap may apply reasonable technical limits to keep this free mode working as described and to prevent abuse.

One-time welcome offer

An eligible CutTap account may purchase the advertised welcome offer once. It adds 10 export attempts for recordings up to five seconds and 10 export attempts for recordings up to 10 seconds, for 20 attempts in total. It is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. Creating or controlling multiple accounts to repeat the welcome offer is not permitted. Welcome attempts have no cash value and cannot be transferred.

Export credits

An export longer than three seconds uses the shortest available welcome attempt that covers it: a five-second attempt first for exports up to five seconds, or a 10-second attempt for exports over five and up to 10 seconds. If the relevant welcome attempts are exhausted, an available full-length credit may be used. A 50-export pack adds 50 full-length credits to the purchasing CutTap account. Launch packs have no scheduled expiry, but remain tied to that account, have no cash value and cannot be transferred or resold.

The service is designed to avoid counting the same export request twice. A device, browser or network failure can still interrupt saving after an export has been authorised. If a credit is used but no file is produced, contact support so we can review the account record.

Go Big 1.0 lifetime access

The lifetime option is a one-time purchase for the Go Big 1.0 product, including unlimited full-length exports from that version while Go Big 1.0 remains offered by CutTap. It is not a recurring subscription and does not automatically include future CutTap products or major versions. “Lifetime” refers to the commercial life of Go Big 1.0 as a supported CutTap product; it is not a promise of perpetual hosting or compatibility with every future device, browser or operating system.

Prices and payment

Stripe processes payments. The checkout page shows the final supported currency, price and any applicable tax before you confirm payment. CutTap's launch offers are one-time purchases. We do not offer or charge a recurring subscription at launch.

By completing checkout, you ask CutTap to supply the digital access or export attempts immediately and acknowledge that, where the law allows, starting that supply may affect a statutory cancellation right. This does not remove any consumer right that cannot legally be waived.

Refunds and payment reversals

Contact support@cut-tap.com within 14 days if you want to request a refund. We will honour any mandatory refund, cancellation and digital-content rights that apply where you live. Using credits or unlocked digital access may affect a cancellation right only where applicable law permits and after any consent or acknowledgement the law requires.

If a payment is refunded, reversed or successfully disputed, we may revoke the related lifetime access or remove the unused credits added by that purchase. We will not use these terms to limit rights that cannot legally be limited.

Your media and responsibility

You keep ownership of your media and exports. CutTap does not claim a licence to media that stays on your device. You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed to use, record and distribute your content, including music, images, video and other people's voice or likeness.

Acceptable use

You must not:

• Use CutTap unlawfully or to violate another person's rights.
• Attack, overload, probe or interfere with the service or accounts.
• Circumvent payment, credit, access or security controls.
• Repeat or automate welcome-offer purchases through multiple accounts.
• Resell or transfer an account, credits or product access.

CutTap software

CutTap and Go Big 1.0, including their software, design, branding and documentation, belong to CutTap or its licensors. These terms give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service and any access you obtain. They do not transfer ownership of the software or brand.

Availability and device compatibility

Browser media features vary by device and operating system. Keep your source files and important exports backed up. We work to keep CutTap available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation or support for every format, browser or device. We may make changes needed for security, law, provider requirements or reliable operation.

Suspension or closure

We may restrict or suspend an account when reasonably necessary to address fraud, payment reversal, security risk, unlawful conduct or a serious breach of these terms. You may stop using CutTap at any time. Contact support before deleting an account if you need help with a purchase or access record.

Disclaimers and liability

CutTap is provided with reasonable care and skill and subject to the consumer rights that apply where you live. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not responsible for losses caused by unsupported devices or formats, third-party services, loss of source files, or events outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer rights that the law does not allow us to exclude.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms when the service, law or our providers change. We will post the updated date and give reasonable notice of a material change where required. A change will not turn a one-time launch purchase into a recurring subscription without your separate, express agreement.
